Elsie Mae Gilliland, age 85, (nee McBrayer). Devoted wife of Jessie Ruble Gilliland (deceased). Beloved mother of Jesse Gilliland (deceased), Rita Eagle, Dolly (Tommy) Frye (both deceased), Martha (Harry) Wagner and Susie (Garald) Nelson. Loving grandmother of David, Donny, Gary, Ricky, CJ., Jessica, Benjamin, Tommy, RG, Brandy, Nick, Brenda and Rita Marie. Dearest Great Grandmother of Samantha, David, Jacob, Michaela, Mackenzie, Jesse, Gary, Addie, Lylah, Seth, Abagail, Anna, Thomas, Sianna, Indrid, Ruble, Damon, Ryder, Julianna, Serenity, Elijah, Sebastian, Sirus Lee and Naziyah. Dearest sister of Shirley, Johnny and following deceased Preston, Leonard and James. Dear aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Our mother was a woman of many trades from quilting, crocheting, crafting, sewing, cake maker, car fixer, problem solver, gardening and if there’s anything more that she loved than her roses, it was a tie with her tomato’s!

She was a God fearing woman who taught us to trust and love Jesus in our lives. In her old age she continued to be pure of heart and a "precious old soul" to so many.

Family will receive relatives and friends Sunday January 18, 2026 from 2-6pm at Craciun Berry Funeral Home 7200 Detroit Ave. Cleveland Ohio 44102. Funeral Service Monday at 10am at Craciun Berry's. Burial Woodvale Cemetery.
