Fernando Muñoz, loving father of 3, grandfather of 4, great-grandfather of 1, passed away at the age of 68, due to complications from Covid-19.
Fernando Muñoz was born on September 23, 1952 in El Salvador to Zoila Muñoz. He migrated to the United States when he was a teenager. He graduated from Lincoln West High School and continued his education at Lorain County Community College. Fernando always believed that education was the key to success and passed that belief on to his children. He always pushed his children to do better than their best.
Fernando worked for various companies. His favorite job was working for Delta Airlines. He loved to travel and learn about different cultures. He made many friends at work and in other countries. He was known for his sense of humor, infectious smile, and kind and compassionate spirit.
Fernando was preceded in death by his grandmother Paula, mother Zoila, and nephews Andy and Javier. He is survived by his children Paula Bautista, Citlali Conley and Victoria Muñoz, and the children, that he considered his own, Timothy and Andrea Muñoz, grandchildren Reyna Bautista and Bobby Moser, great-grandson Carter Maier. Loving family include his brother Alfonso Ramirez, and sisters Gloria Rodríguez, Paula Reyes, and Amanda Ramirez-Sanchez, as well as many nieces and nephews, Christina, Jennifer, Patricia, Julia, Angie, Manuel, Armando, Jordan, Miguelángel, Lissette, Leilani, Yesenia, Elías, Tony, David, Alma, Nelson, Zeneyda, Ariel, Andy, and Alexyana. Close to him and considered to be family is his daughter’s mother, Shirley Nolen. He leaves behind many special friends. He will be missed.
Family will receive friends Friday, October 30, 2020, 4-7:30 PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home 7200 Detroit Ave. Cleveland 44102. Where Funeral Services will be held Friday evening 7:30 PM.
