 My Uncle Henderson always, gave me solid advice, that to which I still follow today. I think of him often as I ride through town when I visit. I am so thankful to have had the pleasure to sit and just talk on the occasions that I did.

So sorry to learn of "Grant's" passing.  It was wonderful knowing him at B'nai Jeshurun, especially during my sisterhood presidency.  He was always so helpful and cheerful.  I think of him often and  will miss him.

To the family & friends Of Mr. Grant, I was just blessed to be able to help out with his Sister Ms. Louise Akins, Oh we cried together. She is really taking it so hard. Thankful I swam with the baby sister Ms. Ann & she asked if I could help. No hesitation I gladly do all I can. I fell in love with her.  I pray the family will always have his cherished memories in their hearts. Now keep together & help Ms. Louise, for she is so precious. I will forever love & keep you all in my prayers. My sincere condolences.

I met Grant in 1999 when Beth Am and B’nai Jeshurun merged.  We worked together with Grant knowing more about Jewish holidays and traditions at the synagogue than anyone. He taught me so much and I am blessed to have known him.  May his memory be for a blessing.  

I first met Henderson Grant years ago when I was a very young member of B’nai Jeshurun congregation. I had volunteered to chair a committee and had no idea what I was doing.  I remember fondly how the quiet gentleman helped me set up everything I needed with a supportive and kind smile. As the years went by and I became more and more active Henderson Grant continued to help me look good, event after event, always with that same smile.  He will be missed. May his memory be a blessing- I know it will always be one to me and my husband.   Elissa (and Gary) Okin

I will truly miss you Unc. You were a protector for some of us and a father figure to others. You always had words of encouragement and pushed us to do better in life. I am sorry I can not be there at your time of need.  I have a family in need of my time right now and I must be there.  Henderson Grant was a special person in my family ,my wife Doris and children Rebecca,David and Leah have wonderful memories to carry with us..

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Mr. Grant. My late father, Louis Simon, was active at B'nai Jeshurun and frequently told me how impressed he was with Mr. Grant and what a delightful person he was.  Howard Simon

So sorry to hear about Henderson.  What a wonderful human being. I have known him since he started at the synagogue when we were on Mayfield Road. Rabbi's came and went as did the other professionals but Henderson was always present to hold things together,
 always with a smile and respect.  Iris and I will miss him as will our children who grew up in his presence.
