Ohio passed at the age of 94. John was born in Mobile, Alabama to Julius
Hunt and Kizzie Tarver.
He served in the United States Army, was an avid bowler, gardener, enjoyed
fishing and there was absolutely nothing he could not repair.
Johnny became a member and served as an Usher under the leadership of
Pastor Shelton Coleman at Chapel of Hope Christian Fellowship Church.
He retired from Fisherbody/General Motors after 36 years of service.
John was preceded in death by oldest son Jay Hunt.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Hunt, two daughters: Kizzie (Leon)
Mitchell and Nena R. Hunt; two sons: Emanual L. Hunt and Willies
J. Hunt; stepson Leonard (Maria) Flagg; stepdaughter Jacalyn Key;
grandchildren: Eric Hunt, Mia (Pace) Hunt, Willies J. Hunt II, Keisha Y.
Hunt, Kardi Hunt, Andii (Luis) Hunt, Jaimi Hunt, Jayrl Hunt, Brandon L.
(Nina) Mitchell, Nia T. (Maxwell) Pickens Nezerae T. Hunt; one brother
Bobby Philon; one sister Sue Ann (Derek) Boswell and a host of great
grandchildren, cousins, in-laws, nephews and nieces.
