Juan Goobie Mitchell

Juan (Goobie) Mitchell was born on December 18, 1991 at Metro Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio to Elis Diaz and Juan Mitchell. Goobie passed on to be with the Lord on June 5, 2016 at the age of 24.

Goobie is survived by his parents Elis and Juan (Navetta); his brothers Willie, Ameer, Jason, Tre-von and his sisters Jocelyn, Jaylise, Sophia, and Amari. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Angelica and Cruz Diaz; and his paternal grandparents Denise and Ike Cheatham and Great Aunt Betty and Great Uncle Carl. He is also survived by his niece Nova and immediate aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jose, Noel (Johanna), Mari (Norman), Angie (Chelo), Jerry (Maritza), Jason, TyJuana, Jasmine, Natalie, Jazlyn, Junito, Anthony, Alessandra, Ariana, D.J., Franchesca, Jose Manuel; and numerous close friends.

Goobie was a loving son, brother and a good friend. He was known for being a very hard worker, and someone who enjoyed life and having a good time. Goobie’s favorite foods include sloppy joes, mac & cheese and Angie’s potato salad. Goobie was also known for being pretty lucky at roulette at the Horseshoe Casino.

Goobie will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson, and friend. Viewing will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 10th at Corrigan Cracium Funeral Home located at 14768 Lorain Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. His funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 11th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.

And while he lays in peaceful sleep, his memory we shall always keep.
