Legathia Irene Plank

Legathia was the devoted wife of the late James W. Plank and a loving mother to the late Michael (Becky) Edmonson, Keith (Jodi) Edmonson, Jeffrey Edmonson, and James E. Plank. Her greatest joy was her family. She was a cherished grandmother to Mitchell and Jeffrey Edmonson, Preston Edmonson, Sean Edmonson, Jennifer Larkin, Brianna Edmonson, and Liam Plank, and a proud great-grandmother of five, each of whom she loved dearly.

She was a beloved sister to Richard (Carol) McKinney and was preceded in death by her siblings Robert McKinney, Georgia Pritt, Retta Reagan, and Marie Bentley. Legathia was also a devoted aunt and a treasured friend to many, leaving behind countless memories and lasting bonds.

Known for her feisty spirit, strong values, and structured way of life, Legathia was a guiding presence for her family. She loved the outdoors and treasured her trips to Canada, where she found peace, adventure, and joy. Above all, she was a source of wisdom, strength, and unconditional love to those who knew her.

In accordance with her wishes, all services will be private. Legathia will be laid to rest at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
