Marilyn Helen Clough, age 80, longtime residentof Olmsted Falls and Lakewood, passed-away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2021 at O’Neil Healthcare Lakewood / Hospice. A special thank you to O’Neil Healthcare team members who cared for Marilyn, following debilitating strokes, for over three years
She is survived by her brother, Dick Clough, Lakewood, and many dear cousins. And preceded in death by her parents Richard Miller and Helen Ogden Clough.
She was a graduate of Berea High School, Class of 1959, and attended classes at Fenn College, and Cooper School of Art.
Marilyn enjoyed her work interacting with customers and friends at the Wayside Hallmark Shoppe, and Pick-n-Pay Supermarket, both in Berea. And was active later in life at the Barton Senior Center with her neighbors in Lakewood’s Westerly Senior Apartment Complex.
Over the years, Marilyn carried on her mother’s tradition of Christmas baking and elaborately decorated holiday cookies. She lovingly shared home with her pet dogs and cats to whom she was very devoted.
She will be interred with her parents at Woodvale Cemetery, and a celebration of life is contemplated for the future when it is safe to do so.
Please consider making a tribute in Marilyn’s name to any of the following charities: Beck Center for the Arts, Lakewood; APL (Animal Protective League), Cleveland; or Greater Cleveland Food Bank. Arrangements by Craciun Berry Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at
