I remember Mary Lu with great fondness from her years at St. Augustine Academy and her hard work as co-editor on the school newspaper- the Shield.

We are so sorry for your loss.I'll never forget when we were traveling through Cleveland in the late 70's around Christmas time. We had never seen so many cookies in our life! Your mom was and is a sweet and gentle soul.

I am so happy I was able to get some great photos this past year of Mary Lu and family members.  She was such a spectacular woman and cared deeply for so many.  I loved her. Hug Sebastian for me...I miss you so much.

Mary, known as Mom to we friends from Ss Cyril and Methodius, knew how we loved her and she always supported Kathy in her efforts to be the spectacular teacher that she is. 
Mary is the only children's author that I ever met in my lifetime and I happy for the experience.
