Modesto Matos

Modesto was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Rafael and Carmen Mendez Modesto. He is the beloved father of Aida (Jose) Hernandez, Modesto (Brenda Rios) Matos, Luz Maria Matos and Rafael Matos (Magdalena Gorczowska); cherished grandfather of Leishka Rodriguez, David (Mary Celiz) Rodriguez, Keisha (Ivan) Garcias, Keylisha Rodriguez, twins Makenzee and Makayla Hernandez, Awilda L. Pietri, Modesto I. Matos, Daniel M. Matos, Brenda M. Matos (Victor Andujar), Luis M. Matos, Lidia Matos, Luis Nieves, Evaleese Nieves, Mary Rondon, Rebecca Rondon, Josue Sanabria Jr., Yaville Sanabria and Julio Sanabria and great-grandfather of Liam, Maya, Jaden, Selena, Yanelee, Yeudiel, Nehemiah, Ezequiel, Yarielys, Yanielys, Kaiden and Kaileen; dear brother of Juan, Ana, Elena, Martha, Rafaela, Carmen, Rogelia and the late Gloria, Pedro and Maria Matos; adored uncle of many.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 4PM-8PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11AM. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cleveland.
