

in Cleveland, Ohio. Goldie accepted Christ at an early age and attended
Union Grove Baptist Church.
Charles attended East Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from
Vocational Auto Body Program at Shaw High School. After graduating
from High School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and
received an Honorable Discharge. His career included Continental Airlines
and Sax Fifth Avenue, he was also a Chef and finished his career as a
Supervisor in the Construction Field, until his health declined. He was a
member of Local Union 310.
Goldie was a charmer and loved to make people laugh. He loved to dress
very fashionable and was a great hand dancer and loved music.
Goldie really loved his three sons, family and was always getting them
together on Sundays for family gatherings.
Lisa, the family would like to extend a huge, heartfelt thank you for your
loving care of Charles, never leaving his side.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving mother, Lillie; father Earnest;
wife April; sons: Charles III, LT and Darius; his significant other Lisa; two
sisters: Denise and Cassandra; his loving brother, Joseph (Joe Cool); one
aunt Florence (Andre); two great uncles: Clifford and Eugene; his Favorite
great auntie Mary Lou; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and
friends.
