Mr. Evans David Dawson Sr.

and Polly Dawson. He was the fourth oldest of five children. He married Ida Mae Manual (Deceased)

in 1959. They had six children two boys andfour girls.

Evans relocated to Cleveland, OH in 1961. He confessed Christ at an early age. He was

employed at Hertz Rental Cars and retired after over 30 years. He was a people person, witty

with words, always said things to make you laugh, always willing to help family and friends.

He would listen and give you his best advice. He was happiest when he spent time with

family especially his children. He enjoyed fishing, watching.sports, the news, cooking,

listening to the Blues, Gospel and Country music. He also enjoyed fixing things, playing cards

and would set them up. He always wanted to be an auto mechanic and his favorite color was

pea green.

Evans leaves to cherish his memory and carry his legacy his children Rosemary Campbell,

Gloria Blackman (Darryl), Margaret Dorch (Greg), Evans Dawson Jr. , Willie Dawson (Shelly),

and Nettie Ann Dawson. His brother George Dawson (Lillie), sister Lorine Chatman and a host

of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was

preceded in death by his brother Willie Dawson, and his sister Pauline Chatman the twin of

Lorine Chatman.
