

Marilyn Ann Mills Hardin and Charles Albert Hardin. He was born on
July 25, 1954, and departed this life on February 21, 2018 at the age of 63.
Gregory was baptized and was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Gregory graduated from East Technical High School in Cleveland, Ohio
and did course work toward a major in Communications at Wilberforce
University, located in Wilberforce, OH. Gregory stayed informed about
current events and could talk to anyone about anything. He was so
intelligent. He was a wonderful conversationalist who loved to play chess
and draw. He had a great dry sense of humor. He loved his family who
loved him very much. He loved his father’s home town of Springfield, OH
because of its tranquility.
Gregory was honorably discharged from the United States Army on April
8, 1975. His previous employment included jobs at the U.S. Postal Service,
Ferro Corporation, and J&L Steel. He was a trained brick layer. Gregory
was a hard and dedicated worker. He always strived to be the best at
whatever he did.
Although he suffered in constant pain for many years, that did not stop him
from doing whatever he wanted and needed to do. He was a very strong
willed person. Gregory was loved by everyone in his family and he loved
everybody. Gregory knew the Lord.May he rest in peace.
Gregory leaves to mourn his passing, his daughter Dana Harris (Kevin);
sisters Charlene Jathoo, Geraldine Hardin-Washington (Thomas), Brenda
Hardin, Iris Blackshear and brother Arane Hardin (Adrian); Aunts Dorothy
Wynn, Josephine Sembly, and Eleanor Hardin. He also leaves nieces and
nephews Charles Hardin II, Arica Duckwall (Gavin), Alyss Zohar (Nadav),
Dennis Hardin-Jathoo; great nieces and nephews Gavin Lee-Hardin, Ara
Zohar, and Conan Zohar. In addition, he leaves a host of relatives and
friends to honor his memory
