Mr. James A. Holmes was born March 17, 1932 to the parentage of Estella and Rooselvelt Holmes in Cleveland, Ohio.He was called "Jimmy" or "Big Jim" by all who knew him.Jimmy graduated from Max Hayes High School, he worked at American Steel and Wire before going into business on his own. He was a expert auto repairman. He also worked for Cummings and Davis Funeral Home for many many years.He was preceded in death by parents and two sons; William and Gary.Jimmy leaves to celebrate his life,his loving wife Jocelyn, daughters; Patricia (Junior) Diane (Bob) Rosetta (Jay) Inez (Willie) sons; Jimmy and Bobby, three sisters, Wuanita Jackson, Delores (Bill)Rucker, Rose Mary Holmes, In laws; Ray and Michele White, Rick andLisa Stewart, Gary and Charrisse Dennis, Terry Gunther, Kenneth and Bernice Thomas,grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
