LARRY LANE, SR. was born on April 17, 1943, to the late Luella and James Lane at home in Cleveland, Ohio. Larry was the 8th of 10 children, 7 of them preceded him in death (Charles, Horace, Alvin, Bobby, James, Loretta, and one they never got the privilege of knowing.)
Larry was happy and full of life. You could always count on him to make you laugh with one of his jokes. He was extremely musically inclined. He played multiple instruments in addition to having a great singing voice. Larry was the proud owner of the Flamingos Barber Shop. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his granddaughters, Kahlia and Aniajah, here in Cleveland. Larry also enjoyed the birthday celebrations he shared with his late sister, Loretta, and niece Asha.
Larry leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Kahlil and Larry Jr.; his daughter, Sharon; his sister, Gail; his brother, Eric; and a host of other family and friends.
