Ray McCool was born to the union of the late L.M. McCool, Sr. and the late Mildred McCool, on July 8, 1962 in Jackson Mississippi. He moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1963 where he lived out his life. Ray worked for the city of Cleveland for many years and enjoyed his job tremendously.
Ray also loved to dance and created a dance called the One Legged Man dance. He made a CD and LeBron James made the debuted of the One Legged Man dance at one of the home games. Ray was grateful and happy LeBron James danced the one Legged Man dance.
He leaves to mourning his passing, one brother L.M. McCool Jr., sisters Florie McCool, and Mary Whitemore, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
Ray departed his life at Kareema Darby group house on June 12, 2017.
