Mrs. Carol Ann Walker

Carol Ann Walker was born January 22, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the eighth of twelve children born to Ira and Evelyn Robinson. She was educated in the Cleveland Public School District and graduated from East High School in 1961. Her post high school studies include Cuyahoga Community College (Associates Degree) and Governors State University, where she graduated with honors receiving a Bachelor' s Degree.

Carol was employed with the University Hospitals of Cleveland and transferred to the University Hospital of Chicago in 1973. After 32 years of service, she retired in 2005 and returned to Cleveland to help care for her mother.

In July of 1976, she was united in holy matrimony to Joseph H. Walker to whom she has been wed for 42 years.

Carol loved gardening in her yard, cooking, watching cooking programs, and reading her bible. She was a devoted Christian and loved serving her Lord. She believed in giving back in any way she could. On the morning of Wednesday June 13, 2018, she left this life for an eternally better one. Her parents preceded her in death, as well as four brothers: Kenneth, Charles, Gerald and Ronald.

Carol leaves to cherish her memory Joseph H. Walker (husband), brothers: Rev Albert Clarke, Rev Donald Clarke (Lois), and Jackie Robinson; Sisters: Alice Brooks, Elizabeth Jefferson, Sandra Maddox (Gary) and Linda Robinson. She also leaves to cherish her memory best friend Arlene Little and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she maintained from childhood.
