In Loving Memory
Maria Danelle Williams
04 December 1986 – 04 May 2017
Maria Williams was a loving and devoted wife who had the support and admiration of anyone she came in contact with. She was a goal oriented young woman who was motivated to succeed at anything she set out to accomplish.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on 04 December 1986. She was the second of four children, her older brother, Ramon Manuel, younger sister, Cierra Jackson and younger brother, Edward Nicholson. It was while in Cleveland that she discovered her passion for helping others, which led her to the healthcare field. She earned her certification as a Nursing Assistant while attending school to further her education.
Maria eventually moved to Texas where she met and fell in love with the man who would become her husband and was introduced to the life of a military spouse. As is customary with Army life, they moved several times, to Kansas, then a short stay in Missouri before returning to Texas. She expertly managed her role in the Army’s Family Readiness Group while being a full time student and a full time employee.
Maria worked in several medical facilities to include Manhattan Pain Clinic in Kansas, Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Marble Falls, TX and finally the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Ft. Hood TX.
At the time of her passing, she was a college senior at South University in Austin, completing her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business with a minor in Real Estate. She was full of energy and potential. Maria was very health conscious and was always active. She enjoyed the outdoors, taking any opportunity to go for a hike, bike ride, or just a run at the park. She always had a smile on her face that could light up a room wherever she was.
Maria leaves behind a husband, Shane Williams, mother, Renita Jackson, her siblings Ramon, Cierra, and Edward, grandmother, Mary Jackson, uncles James Jackson and James Harris, and many family and friends who loved and cared for her very much.
