

She was the daughter of Bessie McDonald who preceded her in death.
Martha was the type of woman who was an inspiration to all that met her
and a great friend.
She found Christ at an early age. She became a member of Alpha Missionary
Baptist Church, where she served on the choir, kitchen, motherboard,
missionary service and all around church helper. She was always willing to
help any one in any way she could; she would help a perfect stranger. It was
always tempered with discernment.
Upon moving to St. Andrews Towers she assisted those unable to take
care of there affairs, shopping and paying bills for them. She was a faithful
member of Alpha Missionary Baptist Church until she became ill.
Martha departed this life on Monday, April 16, 2018 at University Hospital.
Martha touched every ones life in so many unforgettable ways, a loving
person who will be forever in our minds and always in our hearts.
Preceding her in death were her mother Bessie McDonald, two sisters:
Nellie McDonald and Anna Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory
a son Anthony McDonald, two daughters: Tina McDonald and Lynette
McDonald, two nieces: Angela Newcomb-Labossiere and Dedrienne
McDonald, five great grandchildren: Anthony Cunningham Jr., Dylan
Virola, Angelo Virola, Arron Johnson, Ziyah Brock, four great-great
grandchildren: Sir Anthony Cunningham III, Yuori Cunningham, Bentley
Cunningham, Cali Virola, lifelong friends: Val Stovall, Frances Williams
and Ann Wallace, along with a host of family and friends.
