We are forever grateful for your husband's kindness and contagious sense of humor. We have fond memories of his stories, jokes, the warmth he brought to my grandparents' house whenever he stopped by, and the rides he gave to us on several snowy mornings to attend mass with our Aunt Fifi. As it goes, our loss is heaven's gain (we can only imagine the warm welcome he has received up there from the big guy). We wish you and your family much peace in this difficult moment and hope you know how much love will live on in all of us thanks to Silvester's legacy!

So sorry for your loss. Silvestro was a good friend to my entire family and would always take time to visit my parents. He was especially generous to my daughter when we saw him at Bradstreet's Landing. He also stepped up at my aunt's funeral mass when the singer had to cancel.

I was fortunate to meet him and will never forget him.

Sil was a wonderful friend to me and Cliff. We always loved to see him at bowling or at the pier in Rocky River. He use to serenade us with one of his many songs. He will be missed.
 

My most heartfelt condolences to the family of this great soul. I got to know Silvestro over the years while I worked at the police department. Even after retirement we would occasionally get together to have coffee and share our views about our crazy world. He will be truly missed.

It was always so special to run into Mr. DiPietro, Silvestro, on the City Hall grounds or at the grocery store and especially to hear him sing at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.  He was one of the great ones always brought joy and that fabulous smile.  We shared our Italian heritage and loved to talk about it.  He will be missed.  God Bless all of his beautiful family.... may wonderful memories sustain you during this difficult  time. Che la sua anima riposi in pace.

I always enjoyed talking to Mr. DiPietro when he would come over to Tony's house. He liked to talk about Mount Carmel and the old days. He will be missed dearly. We will keep your family in our prayers 🙏❤

Sylvester was one in a million. I worked for the Rocky River Schools for many years and considered Sylvester as a wonderful friend. My prayers are going out to Tony and his mom and sister. Godspeed Sylvester.
