Con profundo dolor y mucho amor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Socorro Dones, una madre devota, abuela adorada, esposa amorosa, hermana maravillosa y amiga leal. Partió de este mundo en paz el 24 de julio de 2025 a las 10:32 PM, dejando un legado de compasión, fortaleza y amor incondicional.

Nacida el 13 de diciembre de 1957, Socorro fue una mujer de gran corazón y firme determinación. Dedicó su vida a su familia, siempre poniendo a los demás por delante de sí misma, trabajando incansablemente para brindar cuidado, apoyo y amor. Su vida fue un ejemplo de entrega, esfuerzo y cariño profundo por los suyos.

Sus nietos eran su mayor alegría. Para ellos, no era solo una abuela, sino un refugio seguro, una fuente de ternura, alegría y protección. Su amor por ellos no tenía límites y siempre fue evidente en todo lo que hacía.

Como esposa, fue fiel, amorosa y compañera en cada paso del camino. Como hermana, brindó cariño y apoyo incondicional. Y como amiga, fue una presencia constante, siempre dispuesta a escuchar, consolar y compartir su luz.

El legado de Socorro es de amor, trabajo, dedicación a la familia y fe. Aunque ya no esté con nosotros físicamente, su espíritu, sus enseñanzas y su amor vivirán para siempre en nuestros corazones.

Siempre la extrañaremos, la honraremos eternamente, y nunca será olvidada.

Servicio Funeraria el Sábado 8/2/2025, de 4 a 8 p. m. El lugar de descanso final de Socorro Dones será San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.

It is with deep sorrow and overwhelming love that we announce the passing of Socorro Dones, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, loving wife, wonderful sister, and faithful friend. She departed this world peacefully on July 24, 2025, at 10:32 PM, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and unconditional love.

Born on December 13, 1957, Socorro was a woman of quiet strength and boundless heart. She worked tirelessly throughout her life, always putting her family first and doing whatever it took to ensure they were cared for, supported, and surrounded by love. Her hands were never still, and neither was her love—it flowed endlessly to her children, her grandchildren, her husband, her siblings, and everyone lucky enough to know her.

Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. To them, she was not just a grandmother—she was a safe haven, a source of joy, and a constant light in their lives. Her love for them was immeasurable and beautiful to witness.

As a wife, she was loyal, loving, and supportive through every chapter of life. As a sister, she brought warmth and care into every bond she held. And as a friend, she offered comfort, laughter, and loyalty without question.

Socorro’s legacy is one of love, hard work, family, and faith. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit, her lessons, and her love will live on in all of us.

She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and eternally remembered.

Come Celebrate her life Saturday, August 2, from 4-8pm in the Craciun Berry Funeral home 7200 Detroit Rd. Burial will be in San Lorenso, Puerto Rico.
