Stephen Tyree, 76, passed away on April 13, 2026. He was born on December 24, 1949, in Kimball, West Virginia, the second son and third child born to Elbert and Mary Tyree. In 1951, the family relocated to Cleveland, Ohio.
Stephen served in the United States Marines and was honorably discharged, a distinction he carried with enduring pride. He was also an ordained minister—an achievement that reflected the depth of his convictions and the seriousness with which he approached his faith and calling.
Those who knew Stephen remember a man of steady kindness and genuine warmth, marked by quick laughter and a sincere devotion to family. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to share in his life.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Mary Tyree, and by his siblings, Michael and Brenda. He is survived by his beloved siblings, Walter Elbert, Rhonda, and Ruby, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will continue to cherish his memory.
