Cathy Boudreau Mehmet

Cathy Elaine Boudreau Mehmet, 65, of Clinton, CT gained her wings with her family by her side on February 28th, 2023. She spent her early years in Kings Mountain, North Carolina but laid her roots in Connecticut.

Cathy was talented in many aspects of life. She was a word wizard, an avid reader, a community builder and a genuine light in dark times. With her welcoming smile, sense of humor and genuine curiosity she had a unique ability to make all feel welcome, safe and comfortable. Her infectious laugh always lit up a room which would oftentimes lead to whoever she was with to also be laughing uncontrollably.

Through life's trials and tribulations she always knew that everything was figureoutable and to never give up. She was strong, fierce and she loved life.

Cathy is survived by her three children Casey Boudreau (Michael Capasso), Chad Boudreau and Shelby Mehmet, two grandchildren Logan and Lennie and her grand-doggy Lily. She is also survived by her sisters Sandra Kleszcz (Joseph), Roger, Sherry Nepton (Bernard), Debra Horner AKA Auntie and step brother Randy (Linda) also many loved and cherished nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm in the Swan Funeral home, 80 E. Main St., Clinton, CT 06413.
