Douglas R Grabowski Jr.

Douglas Richard Grabowski, Jr. of Orange, Connecticut, died on December 25, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Lori (Del Buono) Grabowski. He was the son of the late Charon (Stanislawski) Grabowski and the late Douglas R. Grabowski, Sr. both of Clinton, CT and was born on February 27, 1974 in New Haven, CT. Douglas was a graduate of UCONN where he earned a degree in Management Information Systems. Douglas was an accomplished IT professional for over 20 years. He served as Managing Partner of Grabowski Group supporting a broad range of technological, operational, and strategic matters. He wrote numerous articles for various professional publications and received many awards for outstanding IT leadership. Besides his wife of 7 years, he is survived by two sons, Douglas R. Grabowski, III and Jayce J. Grabowski both of Orange, CT, his brother Jason W. Grabowski and sister-in-law Catrina Grabowski of Gilbert, Arizona, his mother and father-in-law James and Sandra Del Buono of Wolcott, CT and his sister and brother-in-law Kenneth and Christine Santulli of Wolcott, CT. There are also numerous cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, one nephew, two nieces, and a godson that survive him. Douglas enjoyed spending time with his sons playing baseball, swimming and teaching them how to always be “Good Grabowski Boys”. Private services were held on January 9, 2016 in Douglas’ honor.
