Elizabeth A Dowd

Betty was predeceased, in 1994, by her loving husband of 37 years, Bruce Charles Dowd, Sr. Betty's family was everything to her. She is survived by her children Lynn Nostramo (Steven), Carol Dowd-Forte, Bruce Dowd Jr. (Laura), and Erin DelVecchio (Mark), 10 grandchildren (Jacqueline, Kristina, Christopher, Amanda, Jessica, James, Brendan, Mark, Nicholas, and Rachel), and 4 great-grandchildren (Ryder, Cassidy, Danielle, and Natalie). Betty was the epitome of grace. Her wit and wisdom will be missed and remembered, as will her warmth and compassion. We love you a bushel and a peck, and so much more.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Swan Funeral Home 80 E Main St. Clinton CT., immediately followed by graveside burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Green Hill Road, Killingworth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Killingworth Volunteer Fire Company
