Evelyn Gianitsos

Evelyn Gianitsos, 76, of Clinton, CT passed away on January 21, 2012 after a brief illness. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 51 years, Matthew Gianitsos. Besides her husband she is survived by her loving son Dr. Anesti Gianitsos (wife Andrea), two grandchildren (Matthew and David) and her loving and devoted daughter Vassalia Witten (husband David). She is also survived by her brother, Bill Havdouglas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in CT. , N.Y. and Greece.

Evelyn was a homemaker, avid gardener, cook and baker. She will be missed by all her knew her.

Calling hours will be from 4-8pm on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Swan Funeral Home, 80 East Main Street, Clinton, CT.

The funeral will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Swan Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Indian River Cemetery in Clinton, CT.
