

Forrest Hart, age 93 of Clinton passed away March 23, 2011 at Middlesex Hospital. Beloved husband of Gloria (Vaughn) Beason Hart. He was born in Plainville, Ct. on June 14, 1917 to the late Willard and Gertrude (Forrest) Hart. Mr. Hart was a 1935 graduate of New Britain High School. He worked his whole life in architectural hardware helping to start and operate the Harcon Company and Builders Hardware in West Hartford. His company was essential to the war effort in outfitting navy ships. For many years he was a pillar in the Bethel Alliance Church in New Britain. He is presently a member of the Branford Evangelical Free Church. Besides his wife of two and half years, he is survived by three children, Bruce Howard Hart and his wife Donna of Bristol, Shirley Campanaro and her husband Robert of Clinton, and Deborah Sideranko and her husband Paul of New Britain, one brother, Willard Hart of Fl. and two sisters, Melissa Graffam of Bristol and Harriet Kehrein of Tenn. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Forrest is predeceased by his daughter Karen Hauburger, his late wife Elva May Hart, and two brothers, Berton and Ernest Hart. Family and friends may visit the Swan Funeral Home, 80E. Main St. Clinton, Sunday March 27, from 2 to 5 PM. Funeral services will be at the Branford Evangelical Free Church, Monday at 11am. Interment will follow at West Cemetery, Madison. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Middlesex Hospice, Crescent Street, Middletown CT. or to The Branford Evangelical Free Church, 231 Leetes Island Rd., Branford CT.
