Hazel C. Moran, age 90 passed away on January 17, 2013. Hazel was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 31, 1922 to the late Philip and Hazel (Beres) Farese. Besides her parents, Hazel was predeceased by her husband William J. Moran and her 2 sisters Adele Clark and Phyllis Walker. She is survived by her daughters Hazel “Chick” Kirschenheiter and Carol (Michael) Greco; son Anthony Moran; and brother Philip (Gigi) Farese. She will also be missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildrenas well as many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, January 21, 2013 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Killingworth at 9:30 AM followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery in Bellport, New York at 3:00 PM. Swan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.swanfh.com
