Kevin Burke Dalton (1/17/73- 2/6/20) of Madison took his own life last week. That he did so will always be a grievous shock, if not quite a complete surprise, to his family and all of those who loved him. Kevin is survived by his parents, James and Kathleen Kelly Dalton, his sister Casey and brother Brian, and several nieces and nephews, and many cousins, aunts and uncles and life long friends. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Brian Shortt, and he had a special loving life long friendship with John and Whitney Madura and their children.
That Kevin struggled with anxiety and depression will surprise many of his friends, though not his family. Kevin was incredibly bright, funny, quick witted, and a generous & caring soul. His love of the Patriots, Red Sox, history and dogs was profound and his memory for statistics, facts, and details from every moment of his life was formidable. He was loved and will be deeply missed.
A shared observance of Kevin’s life will be arranged privately. In lieu of flowers or donations, his family asks that everyone take a deep breath, go walk the dog or toss a football and connect with family and friends.
