Lois Kathleen Reid

Lois Kathleen Reid, age 74 of Clinton, CT passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her on December 9, 2016 after a battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s. She leaves behind her loving husband of 54 years, Douglas S. Reid and four devoted children, Gordon Reid and wife Renita of Clinton, CT, Stuart Reid and wife Lorraine of Madison, CT, Stefanie Cole and husband Michael of Deep River, CT and Jodie Townsend and husband Tyler of Pompano Beach, FL. She also had nine grandchildren Tyler, Brandon, Parker, Lauren, Wesley, Justin, Austin, Brett and Reid Townsend who filled her with great pride and joy.

Lois was born in Providence RI to the late Florence Armstrong, predeceased by her sister Carole Cinquegrano and survived by her sister Gail Domenico of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Lois was often found gardening, sunning at the beach or on their boat. She had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. She loved trying new things from zip lining in the jungles of Costa Rica to riding a camel in Cabo. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Joseph RC Church, 48 Middlesex Tpk. in Chester, CT on Sat 12/17 at 11 am.
