

Mary Lou Ruberg, age 66, of Clinton, CT passed away surrounded by her family on January 4, 2015. The Beloved wife of Alanson Ruberg. She was born on March 11, 1948 to the late Mitchell and Marion Bearsto Fennell.
Mary Lou moved to Clinton, CT in 1988. She spent a big part of her life as an accountant to local area businesses. She was a member of the Power and Sailing Boating Organization of Old Saybrook, where she was involved in teaching. Mary Lou and Alanson loved boating and belonged to the Hamburg Cove Yacht Club, and a beloved parishioner of St Mary of Clinton. Her biggest accomplishment was to be a stay at home mom to her three children. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all the people she loved. She was a friend to all, especially the neighborhood children.
Besides her husband of 38 years, she is survived by her three children, Kyle Ruberg and his wife Terri of Clinton, CT, Robert Ball and his wife Lisa of Stamford, CT, and Kimberly Mirande and her husband Tom of Dover, NY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Zoe, Kaylin, Tanner, Liam, Tyler, Matthew, Christopher, and Brian. She was predeceased by a brother, Mitchell Fennell, and her daughter Katrina Ruberg.
Family and friends may visit the Swan Funeral Home, 80 East Main Street, Clinton, CT on Saturday, January 17, 2015, for visitation between 12-1 with Memorial services starting at 1 pm. Flower donations appreciated though, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the Clinton Youth and Family Services Bureau, 48 East Main Street, Clinton, CT, 06413.
