

Rosalie May (Jennings) Schreiber, 86 of Clinton, CT passed away on Sat, July 11, 2015 at her home following a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Clinton, CT. Born on April 24, 1929, the daughter of the late Dr. C.M. & Novella(Eastman)Jennings.
She was the high school sweetheart and wife of Andrew K. Schreiber, Sr. Both graduates of the Morgan School, she was also a graduate of the Larson College. She was employed for several years for the Law firm of Burnham, Kinsley & Schubert, before retiring in 1984. She loved beautiful flowers, music , the beach, bowling, golfing, as well as snow & water skiing with her family. She enjoyed the companionship of many pets over the years but especially 2 cats, Jerry & Tigger. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a proud grandmother & great grandmother.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Deborah A. Trapani and her husband, Steven in Northford, Ct, their children, Dr. Linda M. Trapani-Spees and her husband, Dr. Tanner Spees of Milwaukee, WI, and Thomas A. Trapani and his companion Paige Jackson of Fairfield Ct. A son Andrew K. Schreiber Jr. and his wife Patricia A. Cushion of Ashby, MA. and their children, Shannon T. Ricker & her husband, Scott, Krystyn J. Mansfield & her husband, Jay, Sara J. Schreiber, Alison P. Sansone & her husband Andy, and Katelyn A. Schreiber & her companion Matthew Addonizio all of Massachusetts. A sister, Lois McNeely of Long Beach, CA, a brother, Arthur Jennings and his wife, Joanne of Clinton, CT.
Rosalie had 6 great grandchildren: Amanda Mills, Evelyn Mansfield, Rachael & Brody Paz, Kalvin & Ethan Sansone, all of MA. Along with several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late C.M. Jennings Jr. & his wife, Caroline and Richard Jennings & his wife, Georgia; as well as the sister-in-law of the late John McNeely.
Rosalie's family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all those who cared & supported her throughout her illness.
Calling hours will be from 1-2 pm at Swan FH, 80 E. Main St. in Clinton, followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 2 pm at The Holy Advent Church. Burial will take place at Indian River Cemetery at 3 pm, Saturday July 18th.
