

He was born on November 26, 1953 in Poughkeepsie, NY, the son of Stanley E. Paul, Sr., and Lois Lasher Paul.
Stanley graduated from Hamden High School in 1972 where he played football, played tuba in the marching band, and was the basketball team manager. He worked at Camco Fittings for many years before moving to Killingworth, and for the last few years he resided in Middletown.
Stanley grew up in Hamden, and in his youth was an acolyte for St. Thomas Episcopal church in New Haven. Stanley also was a member of the Hamden Volunteer Fire Department Station 5 and Station 9 for many years before leaving due to his illness.
Stanley enjoyed watching all sports, especially Hamden High hockey and his favorite baseball team, the Baltimore Orioles. He also enjoyed going to the modified stock car races both here and in Middletown, New York. Stanley also enjoyed watching his Dad marching with the Westbrook Fife and Drum Corps.
Stanley was pre deceased by his parents, his paternal grandparents, Albert and Mary Edgar Paul, and his maternal grandparents, Frederick and Felicina Rassiga Lasher.
Stanley is survived by his siblings, Duane Paul (Pamela) of Unionville, CT, Cherise Paul Booth ( Larry) of California City, California, Sharon Clarke ( Foster) of Clinton, Scott Robinson ( Rachel)of Ocklawaha, Florida , and his nieces and nephews.
Stanley's family would like to express their gratitude to Water's Edge Center for Health and Rehab and Middlesex Hospital for the care and treatment he received throughout his illness.
