Robert Leigh Wand

Robert L. Wand, 76, died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday June 26, 2012 from the Chapel of Wright & Ferguson funeral home Clinton, MS. Visitation will be from 10:00am till 11:00am. Burial will be in The Flora Cemetery.

Mr. Wand was a native of Texas but had lived in Mississippi since 1997. He retired as a consulting mechanical and electrical engineer. He was a member of the Flora United Methodist Church and loved being a part of the church choir until health issues forced him to retire from that. He also did volunteer work at Friends of Alcoholics in Pocahontas.

He was a devoted father to four children who survive him, Joanna Holton (Bo), Rebecca DeLong (John), James Wand, and Baine Farr (KiKi) all of Texas. He is also survived by his wife of 34 years, Shirley Bratty Wand, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
