Barbara Ann Froehlich

Barbara was born on February 11, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to her late parents, Ella and Edwin Sindon. Barbara is survived by her sister, Jean Like (the late James H. Like).

Proud aunt to Janet (Al) Cellitti, James E. (Karen) Like, Lorelei (Dennis) Ede, Kristyl Girschner, Patricia (John) Kaiser, and Michael (Tina) Froehlich.

Loving great aunt to Brian (Cait) Like, David Like, Rachel Like (Alex Krebs), Jennifer (James) Zientak, Nicholas (Olivia) Cellitti, Pietro (Holly) Cellitti, Ryan Heuchert, Mark (Jolene) Heuchert, Michael Kaiser, Kevin (Audrey) Kaiser, Rachel Froehlich, and Michael Froehlich, as well as great-great aunt to Anthony “AJ” and Isla Zientak, Benjamin Like, Myles Kaiser, Jocelyn and Luke Heuchert, and Tyler and Kendall Heuchert.

Barbara was a patient, loving, and kind-hearted woman who was deeply devoted to her family. She found joy in spending quality time with her loved ones and a wonderful group of lifelong friends. Her warm and caring nature endeared her to all who knew her.

Barbara had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies, including golf, casino visits, and traveling. These activities allowed her to explore the world and create lasting memories.

Barbara’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 10 AM until the time of the memorial service at 1 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF.org). Contributions to this organization will support vital research in the fight against cancer.
