Barbara Wanda (Gostkowski) Mancani, age 69, of Macomb, Michigan (formerly of Eastpointe for 68 years) passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022. She is survived by her daughter Angela (Matt) Ponte, granddaughter Olivia Ponte and her four sisters Cathie Anckner, Fran (Bob) Ahrens, Maureen Burns, and Debbie (George) Sise, along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Frank of 49 years of marriage, brothers Mike Kinzer and Jerome Gostkowski, and her parents Jeanne and Leo Gostkowski.
Barb was a loving and devoted person who always put herself last. She was the person in your life that you could talk to and not worry about others finding out. Barb was an extremely hard-working and strong person her whole life. She worked as a hi-lo driver for close to 45 years. Over the past 27 years, she also fought cancer 3 times. However, after being in remission since October 2021, her body finally had enough, and she lost her battle.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 3-8PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd. Clinton Twp, MI 48036. A Funeral Mass will be Thursday 9:30 Instate 10AM Mass at St Isidore Church, 18201 23 Mile Rd. Macomb, MI 48042. Burial to follow services in Resurrection Cemetery.
