Dear Dave and Family,

Stunned is not the word.   Oh our dear angel Barb.   I first met her during bible study and then helped her with rosary making.  She had such a love for our Lord and for her husband and family.  I always felt so good and cheerful around her.  Kindness and Love radiated from her soul.  I know she is at peace and with Mary, Jesus and Heaven now but we would rather have her here.  I will remember her always and pray for Dave.  God Bless.

As much as Barb is missed by all of us who were blessed to have known her, she will forever live in our hearts and memories as a kind and courageous soul who loved, laughed and lived life to the fullest.  Despite many crosses and trials of her own, she was such a witness of hope and life to others.  I chose her to be my confirmation sponsor when I was nine and she was only 15.  Her cheerful disposition and engaging sense of humor drew me in.  As we aged I appreciated her deep faith and effervescent witness of God’s love for everyone.  Those closest to her (her husband Dave as well as her brothers and sisters, Bob, MaryJo, Tom, Trish and  Larry) are in my prayers.

Dear Dave and extended Klimek family members,
 My heart is heavy and my eyes tear filled thinking about the loss of Barb.  She always encouraged others in their difficulties. She had a way of brightening up even the most troubling situations.  I will always remember her for her genuine, warm, loving smile and ability to really listen to others.  Her attention never wandered during a conversation.  She was filled with the grace of God and shared His love, peace and joy with all those around her.  
I find comfort in knowing that Barb passed into eternity  between two of Our Blessed Mothers  special feast days- the Immaculate Conception on December 8th and  Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th.   I know Our Lady had her mantle of protection around Barb and welcomed her home with love and rejoicing.  
You are all in my prayers, so sorry I can not be in Michigan with you now.

Oh Barb. We were first introduced when you came to support us during our dedication service.later on, when I joined the Rosary Ministry ,you were so welcoming, kind,loving ,generous.I have known you for only about a year but everytime you saw me  ,your love always came through.Above all your faith in the church and the Lord  was clear to me.You will be surely missed.Trying to make Rosaries will not be the same for me.I thank you sincerely and I know you are resting with the Lord.

To Dave and Family:             Dear Barb was the most caring, thoughtful, generous lady I will ever know.  She is and will always be a true treasure from God.  I will miss her dearly.  I loved Barb and admired her for many reasons.  God bless her.   My condolences to her family.



My eyes and heart welled with tears when I learned of Barb's passing!! What a sweet soul and prayer warrior Heaven has now gained. I remember meeting Barb through the Health Ministry at St. Therese Parish. She was always so encouraging and loving. Never a negative word and always lifting everyone's cares and woes to the Lord in prayer, as well as giving Novenas and written prayers and even prayer CD's to encourage others and guide us in our own prayer life with our Lord and Savior.   Barb was always positive and encouraging, and always there for everyone and anyone!! Even when it got difficult for her, she never stopped showing up and building up the lives of everyone she met and all those around her.  Our sweet friend will be in our hearts forever!! I feel selfish in a way to wish she was still here with us, but I rejoice that she is with the Lord!! I will miss my sweet, considerate, beautiful, smart, energetic, positive, encouraging, prayerful, wonderful friend with the beautiful soul.  I remember something I heard earlier this week that now has so much more meaning........"We are not a body that has a soul, we are a soul that has a body!!"  Barb's amazing soul lives on with our Lord and I look forward to our some-day- reunion.  May God grant all her friends and family peace and comfort as we mourn the devastating loss of our sweet Barb!

To Dave & the extended Klimek family - Please know our hearts go out and we are thinking and praying for you all especially at this time. You all were incredibly gracious and present when our Mom (Linda Polzin-Zinger) passed away in July. She greatly appreciated the cards and regular messages she received from her Barbara Jean and family. It was immensely meaningful and lifted her spirits in her final days. We are eternally grateful for you all, and  offer our most heartfelt condolences as you navigate the coming days and weeks. Please know that even from a distance, we join with you in mourning and celebrating her life.

Dear Dave and Members of the Klimek Families


I remember Barb coming to the Zinger Reunions when ever she was able.  It was always a pleasure to spend some time with her as she was always very interesting.
Also, EVERY month between the 1 -5th we would receive a "Thinking of you card" from her, without fail.  That will be  missed, as she always added a nice little note, which helped keep us in contact with her.

We will truly miss her, but know she is with many relatives in Heaven.

So sorry to learn this news.  Barb was one of the kindest people I know; somehow ALWAYS in good spirits and full of joy,  no matter what health challenges she faced (and she endured many).  While WE may not be ready for this, we know that SHE was.   My condolences to Dave and the Klimek clan for this loss which no doubt leaves an enormous void in your lives.  Please know that you are in my prayers for healing with time and God's grace.           


Barb was a very special person in so many ways..she was always doing what ever she could to help you and make you smile.
I will truly miss my friend Barb... she will for ever be in my heart..

My memories of Barb are when we were all growing up together "the cousins".  Since I moved away I have only seen Barb infrequently.   But I cherish the fun, and the laughs at the cottage, Grandma Zinger's and the many times that I went to her house as a child.   She was so much fun to be with.  Please know that my love and caring is with all of you at this difficult time.  I am comforted knowing that she is at peace with Our Father and  the many family members who were waiting for her. Barb  was a very special friend for many yrs.  we shared our love for dogs...we traveled together with our husbands...also did lots of boating.  She was always smiling and spread joy where ever she was.
