My deepest sympathy to all the Diegel Family. I remember Charlottenburg Park beach as a young teenager when I first met the Diegel Family who all made a deep impact on my life. I loved your Mom and will miss her. She was the most caring,loving & genuine person I have ever met. My heart goes out to everyone at this difficult time.

Our most sincere condolences for your loss. Your mom was without exception one of the most caring and compassionate people that I have ever had the privelege of knowing. Her spirit lives on in our hearts.Wishing you peace in this most difficult time.

I loved her dearly.  She was always kind and genuinely concerned about everyone.  She would look me straight in the eyes and ask me if I was doing ok, especially after my parents divorced.  I will always be grateful to her for how good both her and Harold were to my Dad.  The entire Diegel family were good to my Dad.  I am proud to be a part of this family.  I always envied you all and now I grieve with you.  
Betty was the best euchre player I ever played with.  (Don't you all get mad at me now!)  We will see how well the rest of us can keep track of all the cards that have been played when we are in our "golden years"!

You meet people everyday, but there is only a few you look up too and want to duplicate.  Aunty Betty's kindness, patience and love exuded from her always.  My fondest childhood memories include her and the Diegel family.  I will always try to duplicate her wonderful ways and do her memory proud.  She will be dearly missed.

Dear Aunt Betty-

I'll never forget the wonderful times our families shared up in Cornwall, Canada camping and fishing. My mother loved you so much and I know both of you are now together sharing a laugh or two.

You will be greatly missed.
