Betty Lou LaRosa

Betty Lou (Stricklin) LaRosa, age 91, of Clinton Twp. Died March 13, 2018 at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mt Clemens. Betty was born September 5, 1926 in Melbourne, WV to William & Hattie (Janey) Stricklin. She married James Joseph LaRosa in Detroit, Michigan on September 30, 1945; he died May 21, 1999. She will be sadly missed by her children; Diana Shrum, James (Lois A.) LaRosa, Maria (Kevin) Bernock, grandchildren; Valerie (Keith), Melissa, Robert, Ken (Becky), Kurt, Kimberly, great-grandchildren; Steven (Megan), Scott, Amanda, Marlee, Caleb, Grace, Melody, Hunter, Madison, Aubrey, great-great-grandson Troy, Nieces Linda Scalet & Jo Bielenin. Pre deceased by her parents, husband and siblings; Ethyl, Robert & Dora. Betty was the most generous, honest and kindest person one could know, she loved everyone and greeted even strangers with a smile. Love is her legacy.

A Funeral Service will be held 7PM Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd, Clinton Twp, MI. Visitation Saturday from 3-8PM. Burial will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens-East.
