Betty Jane McGinn

Betty Jane Bullock-Powell- McGinn, of Clinton Township, passed away on September 12, 2018 at the age of 81 after a brave battle with cancer. Adored wife of the late Jerome for 22 years; beloved mother of Barbara (Edward) Young, Sandi Powell, Larry (Lisa) Powell, and the late Richard Powell; proud grandmother of Pamela, Marcilio, Scott, Krissy, Glenn, Kyle, Candie, and the late Jacki; great-grandmother of Samantha, Wyatt, Melody, Daniela; dear sister of Gene (Sandy) Bullock, and the late Lois (Tom) Moore. Betty is survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Betty and Jerome enjoyed camping together on lighthouse tours with their fellow HAM radio operators, and traveling the world. They proudly kissed the Blarney Stone together.

The family welcomes friends to a dual inurnment celebrating Betty and Jerome that will take place at 11:30am on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Twp., MI. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind.
