A devoted husband, Carl shared a beautiful life of 55 years with his beloved wife, Mary K. Wrubel. He was the proud father of Peter (Anna) Wrubel and Paul Wrubel, a doting grandfather to Blake, Brianna, and Collen, and a cherished great-grandfather to Aiden. Carl’s life was dear brother of Eugene Wrubel, Kenny Wrubel, and Virg Finn. He is preceded in death by his siblings Stosh Wrubel, Delores Day, and Bernice Price.
Carl dedicated 44 years and nine months of hard work to General Motors, where he earned the admiration and respect of his coworkers for his dedication, reliability, and warm personality. After retirement, he enjoyed his time doing what he loved most—fishing the quiet waters and playing cards with friends and family, where his competitive yet good-natured spirit always shined.
Carl was known for his kind and generous soul. He had a gift for making others feel seen, heard, and valued. He greeted everyone as if they were already a friend, and by the time they left, they truly were.
