Curtis Alan Jones, age 60, passed away February 24, 2020 at Henry Ford Hospital Detroit surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. He was born November 20, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan to Thomas & Hazel (Walden) Jones.
Curtis worked for Mack Industries and later went onto Triumph Gear Systems. Some of his favorite pastimes were bowling, football, golfing, and spending time with his family. Curtis and his family enjoyed camping and vacationing to Florida. He was a big fan of the 3 Stooges & Michigan State and was often heard quoting lines from his favorite movies.
On October 14, 1988 he married Louise Querciagrossa in Warren. He is survived by his wife; their daughters, Lindsey (Kyle) Jones, Amanda (Charles) Peltier; grandchildren, Declan, Grayson, and Charlee; his mother, Hazel; sister, Cheryl (John) Babcock; his in-laws, Louis & Patricia Querciagrossa; sister-in-laws, Christine (David) Grossa, Debra (Raymond) Pedri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father, Thomas A. Jones; and Step-Father, Charles D’Hondt.
A memorial visitation for Curtis will be Friday, February 28, from 3-8pm at Kaul Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 29, 11:00am at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Inurnment will be at a later date at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township, Michigan.
