Cynthia Ann Janos-Hudgens

She was born in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan at Cottage Hospital on December 30, 1950. She graduated from Lakeshore High School in 1969.

Cindy was married to Noel Hudgens on September 6, 1986.

She received an Associates Degree in Nursing from Macomb Community College in 1989, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University in 1996, and a Masters of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University in 2002.

Cynthia started her career at St. John Macomb Hospital in 1978 and worked there until 1996. She began as a Certified Surgical Technician and later became a perioperative staff RN, Orthopaedic Coordinator, and Operating Room Clinical Educator. She then advanced and became the Nurse Manager of the Operating Room.

Cindy, also known as CJ by her work friends at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak where she worked from 1997 through 2009. She was a Clinical Nurse Educator and Administrative Nurse Manager of the Operating Room. She also held a position as an adjunct faculty at Baker College and taught various undergraduate health science and nursing courses.

She held advanced certifications in OR Nursing and Orthopaedic Nursing. She was a Member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses and of the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses. She was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.

She had a passion for cooking, scrapbooking, crafting, gardening, traveling, reading, playing cards and board games and spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Edward Janos; Maternal grandparents Sam Sadaris and Marie Novak; Paternal Grandparents Joseph and Katherine Janos.

She is survived by her husband, Noel Hudgens; Mother Marie Jeannette Janos; Brother Edward Janos (Kristin); niece, Nicole (Mark) Sonnenberg; great nieces, Leah and Ana; great nephew, Joshua; niece, Allison; great niece, Amanda; great nephew, Gabriel; sister Carolyn (Charlie) Janos Blake; nephews, Chaz, Brandon, Dylan, Christopher and niece, Brianna.

Visitation at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, Michigan 48035 on Wednesday January 3, 2018 from 3pm – 6 pm with a Memorial Service at 6pm.

Her ashes will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
