My heartfelt condolences during this time.  I have also recently lost my father and understand the pain of all of this. There has been a quote I've seen a few times that has offered me a moment of peace from time to time. 
Grief, I've learned, is really just love. It's all about the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go. 



All the love and patience right now for you and your family. 


Dave was our tutor since 2012,  he helped us prepared the 2013 Citizenship Test.  We appreciate his passion for helping immigrants learning conversation. Besides teaching us knowledge, he also loved and cared for us.  Even though his health condition kept getting worse, he still insist going to class every week.  He was more than a tutor, we love him, respect him and will miss him forever.   May our sincere condolences to his loving wife Carolyn, and daughters : Lynn and Dawn


Mr.Dave Meyer was our amazing tutor during ESL conversation classes for four years.He was always so thoughtful and kind.We do not forget his welcome and encouragement for us to improve our English language He may Rest In Peace.our sincere condolences to his wife and daughters.

I have the fortune of meeting Dave a year ago during the ESL classes. He was more than a tutor, he was a friend. His knowledge and sense of humor brought us wonderful times in and out of the classes. Dave, you will be so missed.

My family and I moved into our house, next door to Dave and Carolyn, in 1999.  We have gotten to know Dave through our many conversations on many different topics.  He was a good neighbor and friend.  We will miss our conversations; we will miss Dave.  Our sincere condolences go out to his dear wife and daughters.

I knew David for over 50 years and he was by far one of the finest individuals I ever met. We were partners at G.M. for many years and we got along as well as two people could in a rough work environment. He would always be there to lend an ear and I believe he felt the same about me. If one of us was having a bad day, we would depend on each other to lighten the load.
David was a wonderful family man and deeply loved his wife and daughters. 
You will be deeply missed my dear friend and you will never be forgotten.


We only knew Dave a short time in the library ESL conversation class. But Dave found a special place in our hearts. He was very helpful, patient and kind with us. We enjoyed talking to Dave in the classroom and outside the classroom at the ESL lunches. We enjoyed the time we spent with Dave. He shared with us his Halloween picture that suited him perfectly as the court jester. See you in Heaven buddy and friend.
