Born and raised in Warren, Michigan, Debbie built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. It was in Warren that she began her own family, a family that meant the world to her.
She leaves behind her loving children: Missie (Jim) Hoffmeyer, John (Patsy) Sobiesiak, and Kyle (Kate) Tempalski. Her beloved grandchildren: Teddi (Anthony), Alese, Alexis, Antonino, Trinitee (Mikey), John III, Jackson, Brenden, and Tyler. Her cherished great-grandchildren: Daniel, Mazikeen June, and Noah. Her dear siblings: Ronald (Ed), Kendra (Rick), Kathy (Bill), Dennis (Kathy), and Kim (Mark). Her son-in-law, Mike Peruzzi, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Debbie had a passion for gathering people together. She was known for throwing unforgettable parties where everyone felt welcome and well-fed. Her famous cheesy potatoes, ham dip, and deviled eggs were always in high demand. She never missed a chance to celebrate—whether it was a birthday, a holiday, or just a good day for a “no reason” party.
She absolutely adored her “Lucy”—a gentle but very large Great Dane. Lucy was more than a pet; she was her baby. Sorry Kyle, you held the “favorite” title for a while… until Lucy showed up.
Debbie had a gift for one-liners—witty, sharp, and memorable. Somehow, they stuck with us for years and always brought a smile.
Her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren. She proudly bragged about their accomplishments to anyone who would listen. Her love for them was unconditional and constant. If they needed anything—yes, even a hockey puck made out of burnt pork chops—she was there, cheering them on with love and humor.
Debbie is now reunited with those she loved who passed before her: her husband Mike Tempalski, her son Travis Tempalski, her parents Frank (Loretta) and June Rebant, her brother Timothy Rebant, and many other cherished family members. No doubt, she’s already planning the next great celebration in heaven.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A memorial gathering for Debora will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, Michigan, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM.
