

Deena Ann Bellew, age 32, passed away August 1, 2014 at home. She was born January 16, 1982 in Grosse Pointe, MI. She was the loving mother of Brooklynn Rayne, Madison, and Nicholas. She was the dear daughter of Patricia (Michael) Cyrklefsky and Delmer Dean Bellew. She is survived by her grandmother Margaret Wood, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be Friday 2-8:00 pm with a funeral service Saturday at 11:00 am at Resurrection Funeral Home 40800 Hayes, Clinton Township, MI 48038. The burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, MI.
Deena Ann Bellew was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Deena will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Deena was born on January 16, 1982 at Bon Secours Hospital in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She was the daughter of Patricia and Dean Bellew. Deena grew up in Clinton Township, Michigan.
Deena was raised with two siblings. She had one sister, Tina and one brother Steven. Deena was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
As a young girl, Deena had a number of interests. Like most children, she enjoyed playing and making up games. She was curious about the world around her and was often eager to explore it. Deena was an active child who took part in basketball and swimming. In her spare time she liked to dance and sing. To Deena, the most fun to be had was simply playing and spending time with her friends.
A typical teenager, Deena had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. She graduated from Dakota High School in 2000. She enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers. Her favorite class in high school was English.
Always considered a “good” friend to those she knew, Deena enjoyed a broad group of acquaintances and several very close friends during her lifetime. While growing up, some of her best friends were Lauren, Sara, Megan, and Daisy.
Deena worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Deena was blessed with three children, one daughter, Brooklynn, and twins, Madison and Nick.
Fortunately, Deena enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Deena worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Her primary occupation was a manager. She was employed for five years with Big Boy's. Deena always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Deena enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were reading and picture taking. She was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.
Deena found pleasure in sports. Deena was also something of a sports fan and enjoyed following her favorite events whenever she had the chance to do so. Tops on her list were baseball and basketball.
Deena enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. It was a chance for her to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. Favorite vacations included Cancun, Daytona Beach, white water rafting in West Virginia.
Deena was a lover of animals and cherished her pets. One of her favorites was Toby, a terrier Yorkie. They were best friends for four years.
Deena passed away on August 1, 2014 at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. She passed away due to a heart attack. She is survived by her parents Patricia Cyrklefsky and Dean Bellew and her step-father Michael Cyrklefsky; her children Brooklynn, Madison, and Nick; also several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services were held at Resurrection Funeral Home. Deena was laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
Simply stated, Deena was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Deena leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Deena Ann Bellew.
