Donna M. Asaro

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, James Asaro, who passed away June 22, 2001. They were married October 30, 1954. She was also preceded in death by parents, Frank and Mabel Teschler, and her sister, Arlene Janarelli. She is survived by her son, Jim (Sue) Asaro, and his children, James Anthony (Samantha) Asaro and Michael Alan (Amanda Botz) Asaro; son, Dennis Alan (Amy) Asaro, and his children, Thayne Christian Asaro, Taryn Lenae (Spencer) Lawson, and Landon Drew Asaro. Donna is also survived by her great-grandchildren, James Jeffrey “JJ” Asaro and Anthony Michael Asaro, sisters-in-law, Eva Ventimiglia and Mary (Ted) Dezenski; her close friend, Dolly Stiert; and all of her card playing buddies.

Donna enjoyed going on various cruises with her husband, James. In her younger years, she golfed and bowled regularly. In her later years, Donna enjoyed playing cards, and was always looking forward to the next family get-together.

The family asks that donations in Donna's honor be made to the American Cancer Society.

A memorial visitation will take place Wednesday, March 23 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home; 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township. A memorial service will take place Thursday at 10:30 am, with an hour Instate period prior at Kaul Funeral Home.
