Doreen was a warm, kind and caring wife, mother, sister and grandma. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and watching her grandchildren grow. Doreen enjoyed working at both the Sterling Heights Public Library and Clinton Macomb Public Library. Her past time was spent playing cards or bingo, going camping, doing puzzles, and anything crafty.
Doreen is survived and will be forever remembered by her husband, Edward; children, Stephen (Jessica), Natalie (John) Mulka and Kayla (Nicholas) Guadagnino; grandchildren Noah, Kennedy, Madeline and Michael; brothers Donald (Mary) Berkholz and Daniel Berkholz (Yvonne Helzer). Doreen was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Marion Berkholz and brother Dennis Berkholz.
Visitation for Doreen will be Wednesday, January 20, from 4-8pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 21, at 11:00am at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 E 14 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan.
