Aunt Edie, even when years would go by in between the times we saw each other, you were the first person that we would greet at the family reunions. You always met us with open arms, a hug and a kiss. Your unconditional love and kindness is unforgettable and will be forever missed.

Aunt Edie, you will be so missed.  My memories are many.  But one of my favorite memories, are the week we spent cleaning Uncle Paul's house, while he was staying at your house to recuperate.  It was you, Gigi and me.  I think we laughed as much as we worked.  The chair getting stuck in the doorway of Uncle Paul's bedroom and then in the back door. 
But the best was that darn platter.  You had the kitchen cupboards, I had the stove and refrigerator.  Gigi, the floor .  
Gigi had left, and you were working on the top shelf.  Oh, that darn platter.  
Many years before that day, I was helping Gramma clean the cupboards.  I told her we should pitch that platter, because it wasn't safe to use.  She told me she didn't use it, but is was a memory, as it was from her first set of dishes from when she and Grandpa Paul were married.  So I washed it and put it back in it's place on the top shelf.
So when you told me you were going to pitch it, I said I wouldn't, because Gramma would come back to haunt you.  You laughed and said it's getting pitched.  There was a large garbage bag on the back of one of the chairs.  You pitched into that bag, it bounced back out without any additional, cracks, chips or breaking.  You picked it up, washed it and back in it's special place on that top shelf 
I will miss you dearly, and my memories of you, will last me the rest of my life.  
You were the last of a generation.  You were an only child, but no one would have known, because your kindness and generosity to others.  
You are now with the love of your life, Uncle Don, your son Don and your grandson Ricky.  You told me when Ricky passed, In 18 months I lost 3 of my guys and your heart was broken   You were an amazing person, beautiful inside and out.  Love You.
