Eleanor June Hall, age 93, of Macomb, Michigan, passed away on November 21, 2019. She is the beloved wife for 72 years of Ernest; dear mother of Pamela (David) Detzler, Larry (Vicki), and Gary (Mitzie); Loving grandmother of John, Matthew, and Robert (Sarah); Cherished great-grandmother of Kristina, Richard and Stephanie and great-great-grandmother of 4; dearest sister of David Pierce, the late Pauline Ryan, the late Bob Pierce, the late Mary Ann Wagner and the late Wayne Pierce.
Eleanor was born in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, in Masonville, Michigan, on September 4, 1926, to Raymond and Genevieve Pierce. She married Ernest Hall on September 5, 1947, and together they raised their family in Hazel Park, Michigan. She dedicated her life to caring for her family. When her children were young, Eleanor was a Cub Scout den mother. She also was an avid seamstress, making anything from doll’s clothes, school clothes and square dancing ensembles. She was also known as the family historian, compiling books of the different sides of their family, for everyone to enjoy. Eleanor loved to dance. She enjoyed square dancing, round dancing and ballroom dancing.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 1-8 PM, with a funeral service at 7 PM, at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI.
