Eugene had an enormous heart, he was always ready and willing to help others anyway that he could, no matter the task. He was a great father, he loved his family deeply. Eugene adored animals, especially the family pets. He loved spending time on the water and boating, especially when at the family cabin on Houghton Lake. Eugene's passion and creativity showed through his auto body customization work and restoration. Eugene will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Helga Kutzleb; his children, Eugene Kutzleb Jr., Chelsey (Nicholas) Wood; his father, Eugene Ronald Kutzleb; siblings, Ann (the late Joe) Pistono Sr., Theresa (Mark) Chicovsky, Michael (Nicole) Kutzleb; his mother-in-law, Ellen Kittl; father-in-law, Konrad Kittl; brother and sister in-law, Ronald Kittl, Karen Kittl; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, a great-nephew, and many great friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Kutzleb.
A memorial visitation for Eugene will be held Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a 7 pm Memory Share at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Instate will be Monday, July 21, 2025 at 10:30 am until a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market St, Mt. Clemens, MI 48043. A luncheon for family and friends follows immediately after mass.
